The LaFerrari’s plunger has been replaced with a gear-shift, underlining the racing experience. As well as an impressive aesthetic change, the gear-shift also has a functional aspect as a major part of the LaFerrari’s intense video mode. Meanwhile the frantic playfield is populated by three pop bumpers, five stand-up targets, an out-lane kickback along its left side and two diverters in the upper corners. These last two constructions can lead to any one of a variety of features, including the formidable ‘Supercharger’ – a magnetic ball accelerator that awards massive points before it fires the ball back at the flippers.
