Captain Fantastic Pinball Machine By Bally

Description

Captain Fantastic Pinball Machine by Bally
Bally’s Capt. Fantastic and The Brown Dirt Cowboy pinball machine was released in 1976 and quickly became one of the best selling pinball machines from the 1970’s! This was one of Bally’s very last electro-mechanical pinball machines and now is on every true pinball collector’s top ten list!
Captain Fantastic was inspired by the movie ‘Tommy’ and includes a representation of Elton John, as his character from the movie, playing pinball on the backglass. The game name, however, is the title of Elton John’s 1975 autobiographical song and album where “Captain Fantastic” was Elton and “The Brown Dirt Cowboy” was his then-lyricist Bernie Taupin. Included in the song lyrics are the words “From the end of the world to your town” which appear at the very top center of the backglass.
This pinball machine features amazing art work and very fun game play, with drop targets, extra balls, specials and countdown bonuses at the end of each ball. This classic 1970’s pinball is a must have for your home game room!
